Detective Le Coq series

For this book series the design direction was silhouettes, in particular old Sherlock Holmes covers for which Detective Le Coq was a precursor, and unique color schemes for the individual novels to distinguish between the storylines.

Gaston Leroux’s Detective Rouletabille Series

The design direction for this series was to play with themes of the original covers. The heart of the originals is further evoked with the overlaid texture which mimics a well-worn novel’s cover.
